Our Story
Our journey began in 1981, when the Totala family set up their first weaving activity on traditional English looms in Ichalkaranji — the Manchester of Maharashtra. What started as a small trading setup gradually took shape into a structured manufacturing enterprise driven by hard work, precision, and a passion for quality fabrics.
By 1991, this vision took form as Totala Textile Pvt. Ltd., founded by Shri Ramjeevan Totala. From those early days of cotton weaving, we steadily invested in better looms, stronger processes, and a commitment to deliver dependable fabrics that stood for both comfort and craftsmanship.
From English looms to advanced Airjet Weaving Looms of Tsudakoma, Toyota and Picanol make weaving machines, Preparatory machines of Karlmayer our progress has always been guided by one belief — Excellence is the key to quality. Over the years, we’ve expanded from shirting and suiting into home textiles and wider specialty fabrics, of all types of Blends of fibres and thus blending tradition with innovation.
Today, with a production capacity of 3 million meters per month and a team of over 400 skilled professionals, Totala Textile continues to create fabrics that reflect India’s weaving strength and global design sensibility — a story built on heritage, powered by technology, and inspired by tomorrow.
